Job Description

As a Senior Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for establishing and managing thatgamecompany's (TGC) IP and brand partnerships in China, covering all TGC game brands. You will develop long-term collaboration strategies and drive the execution of co-branding and IP licensing projects to enhance the brand influence of TGC's games in China. You will work closely with various partners and internal teams to ensure the successful implementation of partnership projects and explore new market opportunities through innovative collaboration models.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Expand and manage TGC's partnerships with domestic and international brands and IPs, driving strategic collaboration projects.

  • Develop strategic plans for brand partnerships, identifying and evaluating new collaboration opportunities.

  • Work closely with marketing, legal, and finance teams to ensure the smooth progression and compliance of partnership projects.

  • Lead contract negotiations and manage partner relationships, ensuring long-term trust and collaboration.

  • Analyze market trends and competitive landscapes to develop forward-thinking collaboration strategies.

     

Requirements:

  • At least 8 years of experience in business development or brand partnerships, with extensive experience in IP collaborations and project management within the gaming industry.

  • Wide-ranging industry connections with the ability to quickly establish and maintain high-quality partnerships.

  • Deep understanding and passion for TGC game brands.

  • Fluent in both Chinese and English, with excellent negotiation and cross-cultural communication skills to handle complex business negotiations.

  • Strong strategic thinking and execution abilities, with the capacity to achieve project goals in a complex business environment.

  • Innovative mindset with the ability to develop new collaboration models and business opportunities.
