As a Senior Technical Product Manager, you’ll champion the vision for our internal platform that runs Palia and lead development team(s) working on technical products, streamline our work efforts, and champion team improvements. As part of an early-stage growing studio, being passionate about games, cultivating a growth mindset, and a fearless approach to problem solving are a must. 

Expectations and Responsibilities:

  • Champion the vision for the platform that runs Palia
  • Establish best practices for managing our services platform 
  • Drive the product and technology choices that will allow us to create an exceptional gaming experience
  • Operate cross-functionally with partner teams to deliver the best tools & products for our studio
  • Lead the development team(s) delivering our infrastructure products
  • Ensure teams hit product goals
  • Architect our development practices and drive execution
  • Contribute innovative ideas and solutions to the game
  • Mentor developers to increase their capabilities and productivity

What We're Looking For:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Technical Product Manager, Technical Program Manager, Product Manager, Project Manager, Program Manager, or equivalent roles
  • 3+ years of experience leading development team(s) working in technical domains
  • Experience implementing and running multiple types of software development processes
  • Engineering background or equivalent experience
  • Motivated by creating great games
  • Passionate gamer on your own time
  • Legally authorized to work in the US

Nice to Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering related field
  • Experience working on developer focused platform products
  • Experience with building & delivering microservices platforms, including working with common tools & frameworks like Kubernetes, OpenAPI, & Swagger 
  • Experience working with game engines & game engineering workflows

Salary Information:

The Los Angeles base salary range for this full-time position is $170,000 - $200,000 annually for a Senior Technical Product Manager. Base salary will be determined by role, level, and location. The range listed for each job is the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the positions across S6-approved states. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors. Please discuss your specific salary expectations for your preferred location during our interview process.

Compensation details reflect only the base salary, and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits such as 401k matching.

  • Choice of Remote (in approved states) or Hybrid office options in Los Angeles, CA, or Orange County, CA (office location pending) unless noted above
  • Aligned to core Pacific Coast hours (10:00am - 4:00pm PT)
