Job Description

Laguna Games is looking for an experienced Senior Game Client Engineer who is self-motivated, goal-orientated and a strong team player. You take pride in your work, and know what it means to take responsibility and deliver quality focused products. This position will report to our Director of Technology in San Francisco and be a critical part of our global team. Your mission at Laguna Games will be to visualize how things should work, and translate this into a functioning solution.


What you’ll do:

  • Work across all areas of game development including graphics, game logic, AI, and UI

  • Review feature designs and provide input on costs and possible alternatives

  • Work closely with producers, artists, designers and other programmers in a highly collaborative and agile environment to ship robust code

  • Independently create complete solutions from scratch to address pressing client engineers

  • Identify client-side optimizations as well as platform/device specific issues


Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in mobile game development

  • Proficiency in Unity3D Game Engine

  • Solid understanding of C#

  • Experience with Unity GUI and NGUI frameworks

  • Demonstrated debugging and problem solving skills

  • Proven track record of working independently and collaboratively with a dynamic team

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
